Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years management experience
  • leadership qualities
  • valid driver’s license
  • vehicle insurance

  • ability to work 48 hours per week
  • open availability including weekends and holidays
  • successful background check
  • ability to manage and develop teams
  • knowledge of operational standards
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to maintain compliance with laws and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • open availability with ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week
  • flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report
  • leadership qualities and strong organizational skills
  • ability to interact cooperatively with others
  • high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • 3-5 years management experience required
  • restaurant management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class
  • obtain food safety and manager certifications
  • ensure the restaurant delivers great guest experiences
  • maintain staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers
  • provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and development for team members and hold them accountable
  • create effective work schedules to drive sales and control labor costs
  • plan and delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations
  • uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards
  • create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale
  • manage profitability through sales growth, cost control, and operational standards
  • build community relationships and increase sales
  • control costs, losses, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • complete performance reviews for crew and assist with manager reviews
  • maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • utilize management tools and keep accurate records
  • review performance metrics daily and develop action plans
  • handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, injuries
  • ensure team safety and adherence to safety guidelines
  • escalate concerns when necessary
  • perform all duties necessary to ensure restaurant operations function properly
