Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs
- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and training
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds, with the ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks
- Manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Two to four years of related food service management experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food Manager Certification or ServSafe Manager Certificate required
- Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
- Basic knowledge of general business practices
- Effective communication skills in English
- Basic math skills and computer competency
- Customer service orientation
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and professionalism
Job Duties
- Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of front-of-house and back-of-house team members
- Conducting and supervising the training and development of team members
- Ensuring standard operational procedures are followed for consistent delivery of quality food items
- Communicating, training, and coaching team members and shift leaders on new procedures, processes, products, promotions, or equipment
- Conducting succession planning one-on-ones with designated team members
- Ensuring compliance with personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards
- Managing daily operations of restaurant shifts including opening, closing, and mid shifts
- Increasing sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stocking in all restaurant areas
- Assisting in the development of team members
- Conducting and managing inventory
- Placing food orders and processing invoices
- Tracking and managing labor and food costs
- Assisting in the preparation of work schedules
- Maintaining restaurant equipment and requesting service or repair as needed
- Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards according to health regulations
- Monitoring adherence to applicable labor laws
- Performing other projects or duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
