Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and training
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds, with the ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods

  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Two to four years of related food service management experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Food Manager Certification or ServSafe Manager Certificate required
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of general business practices
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Basic math skills and computer competency
  • Customer service orientation
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of front-of-house and back-of-house team members
  • Conducting and supervising the training and development of team members
  • Ensuring standard operational procedures are followed for consistent delivery of quality food items
  • Communicating, training, and coaching team members and shift leaders on new procedures, processes, products, promotions, or equipment
  • Conducting succession planning one-on-ones with designated team members
  • Ensuring compliance with personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards
  • Managing daily operations of restaurant shifts including opening, closing, and mid shifts
  • Increasing sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stocking in all restaurant areas
  • Assisting in the development of team members
  • Conducting and managing inventory
  • Placing food orders and processing invoices
  • Tracking and managing labor and food costs
  • Assisting in the preparation of work schedules
  • Maintaining restaurant equipment and requesting service or repair as needed
  • Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards according to health regulations
  • Monitoring adherence to applicable labor laws
  • Performing other projects or duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
