Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a General Manager, Managing Partner, or Multi-Unit Manager in a full-service restaurant
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Managing Partners must make an initial monetary deposit and sign an employment agreement with Texas Roadhouse
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a General Manager, Managing Partner, or Multi-Unit Manager in a full-service restaurant
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and driving operational success
- Knowledge of food safety and liquor law compliance
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and financial reporting
- Skilled in coaching and staff development
Job Duties
- Ensuring compliance with all employment policies, supported by the management team
- Directing the management team’s work, including scheduling and assigning responsibilities to Restaurant Managers
- Overseeing the performance of management team members through evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
- Reviewing applications and conducting interviews to hire management and hourly staff
- Taking responsibility for controlling food, labor, and liquor costs
- Ensuring adherence to liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- Managing costs, monitoring waste, and controlling labor expenses
- Overseeing weekly and monthly profit and loss statements
- Planning and managing inventories and budgets on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis
- Guaranteeing that audit and training standards are upheld
- Maintaining restaurant cleanliness and safety
- Implementing security measures to safeguard employees and guests
- Motivating and overseeing incentive programs for both management and hourly staff
- Facilitating the development and training of key employees in employment policies and practices
- Understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
- Acting as the primary liaison with vendors and support center contacts
- Cultivating a strong restaurant culture by embodying our core values: passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose
