Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to work 50+ hours per week including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- prior experience in restaurant management preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors
- strong organizational and planning skills
- capability to manage financial controls and budgets
- comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- ability to handle employee relations and resolve conflicts
- commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service and sanitation

Job Duties
- work a 50+ hour work week including nights, weekends and some holidays
- maintain frequent contact with the general public, business, and community organizations to develop and improve public relations
- communicate with outside purveyors for quality supplies and restaurant equipment repairs
- maintain staffing levels through effective hiring and scheduling
- supervise subordinate staff to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, quality products, proper equipment maintenance, sanitation standards compliance, and neat restaurant appearance
- provide on-the-job training to crew employees using company training tools
- implement and execute restaurant level financial controls including petty cash, profit and loss statements, payroll, budgets, and reports
- assure proper accountability of company funds and supplies ordered are of good quality and quantity
- receive and resolve customer complaints tactfully
- appraise subordinate performance and recognize accomplishments
- prepare projections of future sales and expenses for profit objectives
- exercise sound managerial judgment on employee relations including performance evaluations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and counseling
- complete and maintain all internal records and reports as required
- train and develop assistant managers and manager trainees for growth
- maintain a safe work environment
- perform other duties as assigned
