Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Previous restaurant experience desirable
  • Must be Serv Safe certified
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of profit and loss analysis, cash controls, labor analysis, and food cost calculations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Flexibility to handle day-to-day work challenges, multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change
  • Ability to work various shifts and open availability
  • Knowledge of order processing systems and basic computer skills
  • Must pass background check and drug test
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance frequently

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Checks product quality and communicates with customers and assures availability
  • Effectively trains and coaches employees to show courtesy and handling of complaints
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management team for planning, training, and reviewing operations/management procedures and policies
  • Develop and maintain an acceptable level of sales utilizing local store marketing
  • Monitor utilities, supplies, and other cost categories to minimize impact
  • Analyze profits and loss statements and take appropriate corrective action
  • Follow proper procedures and specifications in preparation and serving of food products
  • Control restaurant inventory through an established inventory system
  • Use company approved labor guidelines and develop and post labor schedules
  • Manage restaurant cash control by making bank deposits daily following cash handling procedures
  • Ensure accidents and incidents are reported to Risk Management timely
  • Maintain a safe work environment and achieve highest possible rating by Health Department
  • Ensure restaurant and team image adherence to cleanliness, uniforms, and overall BKC's image standards
  • Keep District Manager informed of hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
  • Process payroll accordingly
  • Maintain applicant tracking per federal requirements
  • Conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
  • Maintain team members' personnel files and post all required federal and state posters
  • Utilize preventive maintenance system for buildings and equipment repair
  • Attend meetings scheduled by District Manager
  • Perform all required administrative paperwork
