Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work 50+ hours per week including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Customer service orientation
  • Commitment to safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and management skills in a restaurant or retail environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting, human resources, marketing, and cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in staffing, training, and developing employees
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues tactfully
  • Proficiency in financial management and reporting

Job Duties

  • Work a 50+ hour work week including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Maintain contact with the general public, business, and community organizations to improve public relations
  • Communicate with outside suppliers concerning delivery of quality supplies and repairs
  • Maintain staffing levels through effective hiring and scheduling
  • Supervise subordinate staff ensuring customer service, product quality, equipment maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness
  • Provide on-the-job training for crew employees using company training tools
  • Implement restaurant-level financial controls including petty cash, payroll, deposits, and profit and loss statements
  • Assure accountability for supplies and quality control
  • Resolve customer complaints tactfully
  • Appraise subordinate performance and recognize achievements
  • Prepare sales and expense projections to set profit objectives
  • Manage employee relations including evaluations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and counseling
  • Maintain internal records and reports according to law and policy
  • Train and develop Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees
  • Maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
