Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of labor laws and compliance
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficiency with financial software and tools
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Customer service orientation
- Commitment to safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven leadership and management skills in a restaurant or retail environment
- Strong understanding of accounting, human resources, marketing, and cost control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in staffing, training, and developing employees
- Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues tactfully
- Proficiency in financial management and reporting
- Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
Job Duties
- Work a 50+ hour work week including nights, weekends and some holidays
- Maintain contact with the general public, business, and community organizations to improve public relations
- Communicate with outside suppliers concerning delivery of quality supplies and repairs
- Maintain staffing levels through effective hiring and scheduling
- Supervise subordinate staff ensuring customer service, product quality, equipment maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness
- Provide on-the-job training for crew employees using company training tools
- Implement restaurant-level financial controls including petty cash, payroll, deposits, and profit and loss statements
- Assure accountability for supplies and quality control
- Resolve customer complaints tactfully
- Appraise subordinate performance and recognize achievements
- Prepare sales and expense projections to set profit objectives
- Manage employee relations including evaluations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and counseling
- Maintain internal records and reports according to law and policy
- Train and develop Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees
- Maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
