Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management
  • Ability to work 50-plus hours per week including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage financial operations and budgets
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and food safety standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven leadership experience in restaurant management
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting and cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Experience in employee training and development
  • Knowledge of labor laws and food safety regulations
  • Ability to manage customer relations effectively
  • Proficient in restaurant operational software and reporting tools

Job Duties

  • Work a 50-plus hour work week including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Maintain frequent contact with the general public, business, and community organizations to enhance public relations
  • Communicate with outside purveyors concerning quality supplies and equipment repairs
  • Maintain staffing levels through effective hiring and scheduling
  • Supervise staff to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, product quality, equipment maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness
  • Provide on-the-job training to crew employees using company training tools
  • Execute restaurant level financial controls including petty cash, profit and loss statements, payroll, and budget management
  • Order and control supplies ensuring quality and proper accountability
  • Resolve customer complaints tactfully to maintain satisfaction
  • Appraise staff performance and acknowledge achievements
  • Prepare sales and expense projections to establish profit objectives
  • Exercise sound managerial judgment in employee relations including performance evaluations, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions
  • Complete and maintain all required internal records and reports
  • Train and develop Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees in management and technical skills
  • Maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
