Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week
- Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report
- Must possess leadership qualities and organizational skills
- Ability to interact cooperatively with others
- Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- 3 to 5 years of management experience required
- Restaurant management experience preferred

Job Duties
- Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class
- Obtain food safety certification and manager certification
- Participate in any additional training required by Zax LLC
- Ensure the restaurant delivers great guest experiences
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels through sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development for team members while holding them accountable
- Create effective work schedules to drive sales and control labor costs
- Plan and delegate shift assignments including communicating expectations
- Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently
- Foster a positive culture and healthy team morale by providing guidance and being a role model
- Manage profitability by driving sales, controlling costs, developing team members, and enforcing operational standards
- Build community relationships to increase sales and provide outstanding product and service
- Control costs and losses by maintaining operational standards and compliance with company policies
- Conduct performance reviews for crew and assist with manager reviews
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as Zaxbys policies
- Keep accurate and current management records
- Review performance metrics daily and develop action plans to improve profitability, sales, and guest experience
- Handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, and injuries promptly
- Maintain flexibility to perform beyond the job description
- Ensure team adherence to safety guidelines and escalate issues to supervisors
- Perform all other duties necessary for restaurant operations
