Job Requirements
- Ability to use a headset to take customer orders or to take or give direction
- Ability to use general restaurant equipment such as warmer, fryer, grill
- Ability to come to work promptly and regularly
- Ability to take direction and work well with others
- Passion for providing courteous service and dealing effectively with guests
- Interest in developing others
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Ability to concentrate and perform duties accurately
- Ability to learn and apply policies and procedures
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other tasks assigned
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to complete all applicable training programs
- Ability to work in an environment that may involve exposure to noise, heat, cold or other elements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Willingness to travel to other restaurants, franchise and corporate meetings as needed
- Frequent bending and kneeling
- Regular lifting (25 - 50 pounds)
Job Qualifications
- College degree preferred but not required
- 3-4 years experience as general manager in the restaurant industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Open and flexible work availability including nights and weekends
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced environment
- Proven talent and performance-management skills
- Proficient in computer and Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the Wendy's restaurant
- Develop and mentor team members to ensure excellent customer service
- Monitor and maintain food safety and quality standards
- Maximize store sales and profitability
- Maintain quality, service, and cleanliness (QSC) standards
- Protect Wendy's brand and assets
- Lead by example to create a positive and welcoming dining environment
