Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures in a restaurant
- Basic knowledge of general business practices
- Read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills and computer competency
- Customer service focused and oriented
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- 2-4 year of experience in related food service management position preferred
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required
- Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs
- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and training
Job Duties
- Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of front-of-house and back-of-house team members
- Conduct and supervise the training and development of front-of-house and back-of-house team members
- Uphold food preparation specifics by ensuring standard operational procedures are followed for consistent delivery of quality food items
- Communicate, train and coach team members and shift leaders on all changes or new procedures, processes, products, promotions, or equipment introduced to the restaurant
- Conduct succession planning 1-on-1s with designated team members
- Ensure team members comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform
- Manage daily operations of a restaurant shift
- Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
