Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of general manager experience in restaurant
  • Demonstrated pride and ownership for a business
  • Proven team leadership skills
  • Experience with inventory control in food service
  • Food safety or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days
  • Minimum age 21 years
  • Ability to work in open kitchen environment performing physical tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Willingness to work varying shifts including evenings, holidays, and extended hours
  • Capability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working near mechanical parts and in various temperature conditions
  • Ability to work indoor and outdoor settings including weather exposure

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of general manager experience in a restaurant
  • Proven success in training, developing, and leading teams
  • Experience ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory in food service
  • Must obtain food safety or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date
  • At least 21 years old
  • College education in business or related field may substitute some experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the store
  • Drive optimal business results and engage customer and Squad experience
  • Provide leadership to the entire Squad, focusing on Store Coach and Shift Captains
  • Identify opportunities to improve store performance and develop action plans
  • Engage Squad in problem solving and achieving store goals
  • Partner with leadership and peers to obtain necessary resources
  • Maintain staffing through proactive recruitment and selection
  • Build and maintain community relationships
  • Use forecasts and labor models to manage staffing and schedules
  • Execute all training programs for new and existing Squad
  • Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Hold Squad accountable for performance and encourage growth
  • Celebrate team wins
  • Manage store inventory and ordering processes
  • Maintain accurate and timely cash management
  • Communicate upcoming initiatives to Squad
  • Track, report, and resolve facility issues
