Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant supervision or management
  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting between 25-85 pounds
  • Capable of extended standing during shifts
  • Hearing in normal range to respond to auditory alarms
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Competent in reading menus, manuals and training aids
  • Manual dexterity for packing food containers and cleaning
  • Ability to work effectively with others in confined spaces
  • Strong punctuality and attendance
  • Positive attitude with enthusiasm and a smile
  • Commitment to maintaining safety around high temperature equipment, boiling water and hot shortening

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in restaurant management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Knowledge of payroll and employee paperwork processes
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a food service environment
  • Goal-oriented with a commitment to high standards in customer service, food quality, and cleanliness
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other managers and area leaders
  • Proficient in daily record keeping and basic financial activities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company operating procedures and results

Job Duties

  • Ownership of your restaurant's success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals
  • Lead the guest experiences in your restaurant that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and fresh meals
  • Grow and mentor your KFC family through training, development and onboarding new team members
  • Lead communications of your team's goals, upcoming promotions, business updates, etc
  • Inspire the overall positive and collaborative family environment
  • Partner with other Restaurant General Managers and Area Leaders to grow and move the business forward
  • Reviewing and submitting payroll
  • Completing employee new hire paperwork
  • Completing employee change forms and termination forms
  • Ensure the store is operated in a safe and clean manner at all times
  • Ensure work schedules are adequate to meet customer service requirements but are also cost effective
  • Ensure that the store is operated in compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Daily record keeping of the store financial and production activities
  • Maintaining documentation as specified by their Area Coach, Director of Operations and Human Resources
