Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in restaurant supervision or management
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting between 25-85 pounds
- Capable of extended standing during shifts
- Hearing in normal range to respond to auditory alarms
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Competent in reading menus, manuals and training aids
- Manual dexterity for packing food containers and cleaning
- Ability to work effectively with others in confined spaces
- Strong punctuality and attendance
- Positive attitude with enthusiasm and a smile
- Commitment to maintaining safety around high temperature equipment, boiling water and hot shortening
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in restaurant management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and develop team members
- Knowledge of payroll and employee paperwork processes
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a food service environment
- Goal-oriented with a commitment to high standards in customer service, food quality, and cleanliness
- Ability to work collaboratively with other managers and area leaders
- Proficient in daily record keeping and basic financial activities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company operating procedures and results
Job Duties
- Ownership of your restaurant's success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals
- Lead the guest experiences in your restaurant that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and fresh meals
- Grow and mentor your KFC family through training, development and onboarding new team members
- Lead communications of your team's goals, upcoming promotions, business updates, etc
- Inspire the overall positive and collaborative family environment
- Partner with other Restaurant General Managers and Area Leaders to grow and move the business forward
- Reviewing and submitting payroll
- Completing employee new hire paperwork
- Completing employee change forms and termination forms
- Ensure the store is operated in a safe and clean manner at all times
- Ensure work schedules are adequate to meet customer service requirements but are also cost effective
- Ensure that the store is operated in compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Daily record keeping of the store financial and production activities
- Maintaining documentation as specified by their Area Coach, Director of Operations and Human Resources
