Job Requirements

  • Must obtain food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • able to work in open kitchen environment with physical activities such as walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling objects up to fifty pounds
  • able to operate kitchen equipment including industrial can opener, dough press, dishwasher, and oven
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • flexible schedule availability including evenings, holidays, and extended hours
  • able to work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions
  • able to work near moving mechanical parts

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of general manager experience in a restaurant
  • proven success training, developing, and leading teams
  • experience ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory in food service
  • must obtain food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • college education in business or related field may substitute a portion of required experience
  • strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store
  • drive the best possible business results and engage customer and Squad experience
  • provide leadership to the entire Squad with attention to the Store Coach and Shift Captains
  • identify opportunities to improve store performance and develop action plans
  • engage Squad in problem-solving and achieving store goals
  • maintain staffing levels through talent recruitment and selection
  • build and sustain community relationships
  • utilize forecasts and labor models to distribute staffing and schedules
  • execute training programs for new and existing Squad members
  • maintain accountability for cleanliness and food safety
  • hold Squad accountable for performance and foster growth mindset
  • celebrate team wins
  • manage store inventory and ensure supplies are ordered and processed
  • maintain accurate and secure cash management
  • communicate upcoming initiatives to Squad members
  • track and address facilities issues
