Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of restaurant general manager experience in restaurants
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Follow Smashburger uniform standards
- Ability to adhere to Smashburger, local, state, and federal employment regulations
- Completion of Smashburger training program
- Strong communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven time management and organizational skills

Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in the restaurant industry

Job Duties
- Report to the Director of Operations or District Manager as the primary support for restaurant management teams
- Manage performance of multiple Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and employees
- Promote a fun and positive work environment
- Develop future leaders within the company
- Oversee the effectiveness of people-focused processes and systems
- Ensure adequate staffing including employee retention and recruitment
- Provide training using SmashConnect LMS and four-step training method
- Reward and recognize employee performance
- Conduct talent reviews and performance conversations
- Partner with HR to manage disciplinary processes
- Resolve employee relations issues
- Manage daily operational check lists including line checks, uniform standards, opening/closing checklists, and safe/deposit logs
- Maintain FSC operational standards and corrective action plans
- Manage guest experience metrics and resolve complaints within 24 hours using Medallia
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Exemplify guest service and communicate SIZZLE service standards
- Manage onboarding and training of new employees
- Facilitate routine management communication
- Control business spends within budget
- Manage COGS through ordering, inventory, and reporting
- Oversee spending on supplies and operating costs
- Enforce cash policies to minimize losses
- Build sales through community involvement and operations improvement
- Manage labor costs in line with state laws
- Participate in profit and loss reviews
- Build schedules based on sales forecasts
- Manage local marketing programs as assigned
