Job Requirements
- Must have prior general manager experience
- Minimum of 2 years as a general manager with Profit and Loss responsibility
- High school degree
- Open availability
- Must be trained and pass a food safety certification course
- Ability to comprehend and communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Must spend 80-90% of time on the shop floor
- Financial literacy and ability to understand financial reports
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong time-management and organizing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to delegate and follow-up
- Ability to set budgets and maintain food and beverage cost
- Ability to follow expectations and guidelines set by Potbelly

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of at least 2 years as a general manager in a restaurant or retail environment with Profit and Loss responsibility
- Experience in the restaurant industry preferred
- High school degree required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Duties
- Select and hire great employees who represent Potbelly values
- Train and develop all employees to the next level
- Assess staff abilities and create effective development plans
- Create and enforce a plan to reduce turnover
- Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
