Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience in restaurants
- at least 4 years in restaurant management
- bachelor's degree in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management preferred
- hands-on restaurant leadership experience
- knowledge of restaurant management software
- proven leadership and people management skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- valid work authorization for the US
- strong communication skills in English
- successful completion of reference and background checks
- ability to work in noisy and variable environmental conditions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in restaurants with at least 4 years in restaurant management
- bachelor's degree in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management is desirable
- hands-on experience operating a restaurant as part of the leadership team
- extensive food and beverage experience in large restaurants
- experience in Las Vegas or nightlife market is a plus
- working knowledge of restaurant management software like SevenRooms, Avero, InfoGenesis, Partender, Oracle, payroll software
- proven people management, motivation, and development skills
- experience managing union staff is a plus
- strong problem-solving skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- financial acumen and business management abilities
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- successful reference checks and background check clearance
Job Duties
- Actively engage in antiracist commitment and internal practices
- create a work environment promoting teamwork, feedback, recognition, respect, and employee satisfaction
- create SOPs for front and back of house and train staff
- oversee all food and beverage operations for restaurant and theater ensuring an integrated experience
- actively participate in service and daily operations
- maximize revenue with effective table management and resource planning
- select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach employees including union and non-union staff
- control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory and cash control
- develop food and beverage knowledge and instill passion for service in the team
- take ownership of guest concerns and act decisively to ensure satisfaction
- collaborate with show team for guest itineraries and seamless customer service
- ensure resources for efficient operation including inventory and inspections
- hold and attend regular operational meetings to ensure coordination
- perform other duties as assigned by manager
