Job Requirements
- Knowledge and embodiment of Potbelly values
- ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
- ability to spend 80-90% time on shop floor in front of house
- open availability
- must pass food safety certification after up to two attempts
- ability to set budgets and maintain food and beverage costs
- ability to follow Potbelly operational guidelines
- minimum of 45 hours work per week stamina
- ability to stand and walk 9-10 hours daily
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- tolerance for both warm and cool indoor environments and some outdoor exposure
- ability to tolerate higher noise levels and potential allergens such as peanut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a general manager in restaurant or retail with P&L responsibility
- high school degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Duties
- Select and hire great employees who represent Potbelly values
