Job Requirements

  • Offer direct support for your team through coaching, counseling, gentle correction, and constructive feedback
  • Collaborate effectively with hotel departments including Sales, Culinary, Food & Beverage, Membership, and Hotel Operations
  • Be respectful in daily interactions with managers, direct reports, and peers
  • Be a subject matter expert in fine dining service and cuisine history
  • Demonstrate business acumen by aligning initiatives with operational goals and budgets

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in fine dining
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to coach, counsel, and motivate teams
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage industry standards and practices
  • Experience with budget management and cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Commitment to inclusivity and community engagement

Job Duties

  • Uphold and model the company’s principles of People, Place and Character
  • Actively participate in recruitment, training, scheduling, supervising, coaching, and motivation of restaurant employees
  • Ensure timely set-up of the dining room and adhere to food & beverage standards and guest requests
  • Review all reservations and cover count reports to determine appropriate staffing levels and station assignments
  • Manage inventory, control breakage/loss reduction of china, glass and silver related to restaurant services
  • Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all restaurant space, public areas, and service areas
  • Assist in other food & beverage departments as needed
  • Maintain regular communication with the F&B Management team
  • Demonstrate computer proficiency, ability to format and print menus
  • Knowledge of POS system, ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues
  • Understand budget and goals to maintain profitability for food & beverage operations
  • Think strategically and creatively to implement and execute revenue generating opportunities
