Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in restaurant management
- Experience in fine dining service
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
- Proven management experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management
- Knowledge of food and beverage cost control
- Experience collaborating with culinary teams and other hotel departments
- Customer service excellence and VIP guest management skills
- Business acumen with a focus on operational goals and profitability
- Ability to think strategically and creatively for revenue growth
Job Duties
- Uphold and model the company’s principles of People, Place and Character
- Actively participate in recruitment, training, scheduling, supervising, coaching, and motivation of restaurant employees to create an environment that nurtures ideas and develops future talent
- Ensure timely set-up of the dining room and adherence to food & beverage standards and guest requests
- Review reservations and cover count reports to determine staffing levels and station assignments
- Manage inventory and control breakage/loss reduction of restaurant items
- Inspect and oversee cleanliness and maintenance of all restaurant and public spaces
- Assist in other food & beverage departments as needed
- Maintain regular communication with the F&B Management team
- Format and print menus with computer proficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor POS system issues
- Understand budget and goals to maintain profitability
- Implement and execute revenue generating opportunities strategically and creatively
