Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid drivers license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Open availability and ability to work at least 5 days and 48 hours per week
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report
  • Must possess leadership qualities and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact cooperatively with others
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • 3-5 years management experience required
  • Restaurant management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class
  • Obtain food safety certification and manager certification
  • Ensure the restaurant delivers exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers
  • Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and development to team members while holding them accountable for their performance
  • Create effective work schedules timely and appropriately to drive sales and control labor costs
  • Plan and delegate shift assignments, communicate expectations, and adjust as needed
  • Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently
  • Foster a positive culture and healthy team morale through leadership and by setting an example
  • Manage profitability by driving sales, controlling costs, developing team members, and ensuring operational standards
  • Build community relationships and strive to increase sales
  • Control costs and losses by maintaining operational standards and ensuring compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Complete performance reviews for crew members and assist with manager reviews
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies
  • Keep accurate and current records using management tools
  • Review performance metrics daily and develop action plans to improve profitability, sales, and guest experience
  • Handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, and injuries promptly
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure the team follows safety guidelines
  • Escalate concerns to supervisors when appropriate
  • Perform all other duties necessary to ensure proper restaurant operations
