Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • College or university degree preferred
  • 2-4 years supervisory experience in food service or retail environment
  • Profit and loss responsibility experience
  • Basic personal computer literacy
  • Prefer internal promotion from assistant general manager
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • Reliable transportation
  • Basic business math and accounting skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to sweep, mop, dust, lift trash containers
  • Ability to clean parking lot and grounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and stoop for 80% of the shift
  • Understand posted schedule and work as scheduled
  • Use approved timekeeping system accurately
  • Take initiative and maintain high activity level

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility
  • Basic personal computer literacy
  • Proven leadership and strong communication skills
  • Experience in employee development
  • Positive attitude and strong decision-making skills
  • Preferably promoted from assistant general manager position

Job Duties

  • Lead and establish the tone of the work environment and customer hospitality
  • Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant ensuring quality and consistency
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and onboard employees
  • Conduct new hire orientation and develop individualized training plans
  • Schedule and deploy the team effectively to meet business demands
  • Address employee performance issues and facilitate conflict resolution
  • Manage restaurant budget including profit and loss responsibilities
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and enhance customer satisfaction
