Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years general management experience
- valid food handler's certification
- strong knowledge of food and beverage service
- ability to mentor and manage staff effectively
- proficient with POS and reservation systems
- experience in high-profile, fast-paced dining environments
- excellent English communication skills
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- capability to work standing or moving for long hours
Job Qualifications
- Proven general management experience of 2 or more years
- food handler's certification
- exceptional service skills and food and beverage knowledge
- demonstrated ability to manage and mentor managers
- familiarity with the local restaurant scene
- technical proficiency in POS and reservation systems
- experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurants
- self-motivated with attention to detail
- excellent communication skills in English
- Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Make operational and financial decisions with the Executive Chef
- adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs
- ensure accurate completion of financial and administrative duties
- work with marketing and operations teams to drive revenue
- analyze and report monthly financial performance
- identify and address operational and fiscal issues
- enforce sanitary practices and maintain cleanliness
- ensure compliance with policies and laws
- maintain restaurant image and appearance standards
- maintain highest health department ratings
- oversee safety and security procedures
- manage daily operations including scheduling and training
- build positive relationships with stakeholders
- ensure licenses and permits are up-to-date
- manage inventory of Front of House supplies
- manage floor service including decision making and troubleshooting
- handle reservations and reservation system
- uphold press and VIP service standards
- collaborate on events and private dining
- cultivate guest relationships
- ensure consistent high-quality service
- manage customer service and guest recovery
- resolve complaints on food quality and service
- manage staffing levels and hiring
- develop talent pipeline and succession planning
- ensure labor regulation compliance
- enforce hiring and training practices
- conduct performance reviews and staff development
- lead future leader identification and development
- oversee disciplinary actions and terminations
- prepare weekly schedules
- manage labor budgets and payroll processing
