Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Serv Safe certification
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial statements
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Open availability
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job
  • Must pass background check and drug test

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Previous restaurant experience desirable
  • Serv Safe certified
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to influence and present information clearly
  • Understanding of profit and loss analysis and cash controls
  • Ability to solve problems and exercise sound judgment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and manage multiple demands
  • Leadership skills to develop others and improve processes
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with order processing systems

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Check product quality and assure availability
  • Train and coach employees to handle complaints courteously
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management for planning and reviewing procedures
  • Develop and maintain acceptable sales levels and utilize local store marketing
  • Monitor utilities and supplies costs and control inventory
  • Use company labor guidelines and manage labor scheduling
  • Manage restaurant cash control and make bank deposits daily
  • Report accidents to Risk Management and maintain a safe work environment
  • Achieve high health department ratings and uphold restaurant cleanliness and image
  • Keep District Manager informed about hiring and employee status changes
  • Conduct performance reviews and maintain personnel files
  • Utilize preventive maintenance systems for buildings and equipment
  • Attend scheduled meetings with District Manager
  • Perform all required administrative paperwork
