Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shifts
- Capability to lift 30 to 50 pounds
- Physical ability to perform motions including pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous use of fingers and wrists
- Willingness to work flexible hours including peak dining times
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Ability to manage budgeting and inventory
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and liquor laws
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Oversee kitchen operations and dining room service
- Estimate food and beverage usage and place supplier orders
- Total cash and charge receipts daily
- Supervise food preparation and ensure quality and portion size
- Resolve customer complaints about food or service
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor staff and guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with liquor laws
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff
- Schedule staff work hours to cover peak dining times
