Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shifts
  • Capability to lift 30 to 50 pounds
  • Physical ability to perform motions including pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous use of fingers and wrists
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including peak dining times

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Ability to manage budgeting and inventory
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and liquor laws
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee kitchen operations and dining room service
  • Estimate food and beverage usage and place supplier orders
  • Total cash and charge receipts daily
  • Supervise food preparation and ensure quality and portion size
  • Resolve customer complaints about food or service
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
  • Monitor staff and guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with liquor laws
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff
  • Schedule staff work hours to cover peak dining times
