Job Requirements
- High school degree
- minimum of 2 years’ experience as a general manager with P&L responsibility
- ability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week
- open availability
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing and walking up to 9-10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Food Safety Certification required
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- ability to communicate in English effectively
- able to work in noisy environments and tolerate allergens
- strong work ethic
- strong business acumen
- valid food safety certification passed
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- willingness to spend 80-90% of time on the shop floor

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of at least 2 years as a general manager in a restaurant or retail environment with P&L responsibility
- experience in the restaurant industry preferred
- high school degree
- bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Duties
- Select and hire great employees who represent Potbelly values
- train and develop all employees to the next level
- assess staff abilities and create effective development plans
- create and enforce a plan to reduce turnover
- delegate tasks to the team and provide follow-up
