Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • ServSafe certified
  • previous restaurant experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • must pass background check and drug test
  • open availability
  • ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • knowledge of restaurant equipment and safety procedures
  • strong organizational and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • checks product quality and communicates with customers and assures availability
  • effectively trains and coaches employees to show courtesy and handle complaints
  • conducts meetings with team members and management team for planning, training, and reviewing operations/management procedures and policies
  • develops and maintains an acceptable level of sales and utilizes local store marketing
  • monitors utilities, supplies, and other cost categories to minimize impact
  • analyzes profits and loss statements and takes corrective action
  • controls restaurant inventory through an established inventory system
  • uses company approved labor guidelines and develops labor schedules
  • manages restaurant cash control by making bank deposits daily
  • follows cash handling procedures
  • ensures accidents and incidents are reported timely
  • maintains a safe work environment and achieves the highest health department rating
  • ensures professional restaurant and team image through cleanliness and adherence to Burger King Corporation's standards
  • keeps district manager informed of team member hiring, promotions, and changes in employee status
  • processes payroll accordingly and maintains applicant tracking
  • conducts performance reviews and documents disciplinary actions
  • utilizes preventive maintenance systems and ensures repair of buildings and equipment
  • attends scheduled meetings for planning, training, and reviewing operations
  • performs all administrative paperwork as required
