Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of general manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, reaching

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of general manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Experience in managing teams and schedules effectively

Job Duties

  • Ensure team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
  • Hire, train and coach the restaurant team
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a high-quality restaurant, especially accurate projections and great schedules
  • Implement restaurant controls, especially cash & inventory
  • Frequent contact with the public, business, and community organizations to develop and improve public relations
  • Meet standards for speed of service, food safety and cleanliness
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure all equipment is clean and maintained
  • Work all shifts including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night & weekends each week
  • Work at least one full weekend each period
  • Set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge and high level of proficiency in restaurant operations
  • Follow all government regulations, employment law, food safety, operations policies and cash policies and implement all accounting controls
  • Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits and behaviors
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management about plans, progress and problems
  • Successfully implement all marketing promotions
  • Participate in implementation of company policies, standards, training and management development
  • Train and develop the capabilities of Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees to provide for growth
