Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of general manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance
- Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, reaching
Job Qualifications

- ServSafe certification preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience in managing teams and schedules effectively
Job Duties
- Ensure team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
- Hire, train and coach the restaurant team
- Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a high-quality restaurant, especially accurate projections and great schedules
- Implement restaurant controls, especially cash & inventory
- Frequent contact with the public, business, and community organizations to develop and improve public relations
- Meet standards for speed of service, food safety and cleanliness
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure all equipment is clean and maintained
- Work all shifts including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night & weekends each week
- Work at least one full weekend each period
- Set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge and high level of proficiency in restaurant operations
- Follow all government regulations, employment law, food safety, operations policies and cash policies and implement all accounting controls
- Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits and behaviors
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management about plans, progress and problems
- Successfully implement all marketing promotions
- Participate in implementation of company policies, standards, training and management development
- Train and develop the capabilities of Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees to provide for growth
