Job Requirements
- 5 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field or 4-year college degree and 3 years related experience or 2-year college degree and 4 or more years related experience
- 1 year catering and event experience
- 1 year room service experience
- Organized labor experience preferred
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen, understand and clarify concerns
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Attentive, friendly, courteous service approach
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Participate in manager on duty coverage
- Maintain regular attendance
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance
- Comply with hotel standards and regulations
- Problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- 4-year college degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related experience
- Minimum 1 year catering and event experience
- Minimum 1 year room service experience
- Experience in organized labor preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and compliance
Job Duties
- Coordinate, supervise and direct all restaurant, private dining, catering and room service operations
- Maintain profitable food and beverage outlets
- Promote business ideas to increase revenue
- Reduce employee turnover
- Maintain revenue and payroll budgets
- Build relationships with guests and anticipate their needs
- Lead and manage dining room staff effectively
- Respond to guest complaints promptly
- Assist in catering sales
- Schedule and staff events
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws and health regulations
- Monitor quality of service
- Prepare and submit reports timely
- Collaborate with food and beverage management team
- Oversee loss prevention in food and beverage operations
- Conduct employee training and interviews
- Implement corporate promotions in outlets
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
