Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Previous restaurant experience desirable
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
  • Understanding of financial and labor analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and multiple demands
  • Open availability to work various shifts
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting and standing

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to influence and present information clearly
  • Understanding of profit and loss analysis, cash controls, labor analysis, and food cost calculations

  • Flexibility to handle multiple demands and work various shifts
  • Leadership skills including developing others and gaining commitment
  • Knowledge of order processing systems and basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Check product quality and communicate with customers
  • Effectively train and coach employees to show courtesy and handle complaints
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management team to plan, train, and review operations
  • Develop and maintain acceptable sales levels using local store marketing
  • Monitor utilities, supplies, and cost categories to minimize expenses
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and take corrective actions
  • Follow proper food preparation and serving procedures
  • Control restaurant inventory through established systems
  • Use company approved labor guidelines and develop labor schedules
  • Manage restaurant cash control including daily bank deposits
  • Ensure timely reporting of accidents and incidents
  • Maintain safe work environment and achieve highest health department rating
  • Ensure restaurant cleanliness, uniform compliance, and adherence to brand image standards
  • Keep District Manager informed about hiring, promotions, and employee status
  • Conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with laws
  • Utilize preventive maintenance system for repairs
  • Attend meetings for planning and training
  • Perform all administrative paperwork as required
