Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including open availability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and control costs
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and lead teams
  • Knowledge of computer and order processing systems
  • Willingness to pass background check and drug test

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Previous restaurant management experience desirable
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to listen, influence, and present information clearly
  • Understanding of profit and loss analysis, cash controls, labor analysis, and food cost calculations
  • Strong problem-solving and judgment skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work flexible shifts
  • Leadership skills to develop and motivate team members
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of order processing systems

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Checks product quality and communicates with customers and assures availability
  • Effectively trains and coaches employees to show courtesy and handling of complaints
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management team for planning, training, and reviewing operations management procedures and policies
  • Develops and maintains an acceptable level of sales
  • Utilizes local store marketing
  • Monitors utilities, supplies, and other cost categories to minimize impact
  • Analyzes profits and loss statements and takes corrective actions
  • Controls restaurant inventory through an established system
  • Uses company approved labor guidelines and schedules labor accordingly
  • Manages cash control including making daily bank deposits
  • Ensures accidents and incidents are reported timely to Risk Management
  • Maintains a safe work environment and achieves the highest possible health department rating
  • Ensures professional restaurant and team image through adherence to cleanliness and uniform standards
  • Keeps District Manager informed on hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
  • Processes payroll and maintains applicant tracking per federal requirements
  • Conducts performance reviews and documents disciplinary actions
  • Utilizes a preventive maintenance system
  • Attends scheduled meetings with District Manager
  • Performs all required administrative paperwork
