Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three years of restaurant management experience including P&L responsibility
  • advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred
  • food safety certification according to state or local requirements
  • reliable transportation
  • maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance for driving positions
  • acceptable driving record for positions with significant business driving
  • strong personal effectiveness with ability to operate under minimal supervision
  • excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • team player with optimistic leadership approach
  • effective management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • analytical skills to read and analyze reports and manage inventory

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • proven ability to manage all shifts without supervision
  • advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred
  • food safety certification according to state or local requirements
  • valid driver’s license and insurance for positions requiring driving
  • acceptable motor vehicle record for certain management roles

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent operations management
  • adhere to all company standards, policies, and procedures
  • recruit, train, and develop assistant managers, shift managers, and team members
  • ensure positive and motivating work environment
  • conduct timely performance reviews and document employee performance
  • maintain effective communication channels and problem resolution
  • escalate performance issues and employment decisions when necessary
  • ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction and resolve guest complaints
  • manage restaurant financial controllables including labor, food, supplies, cash management, and audits
  • maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health codes and food safety standards
  • implement proper opening, closing, and security procedures
  • execute marketing programs and plan shifts based on business traffic
  • build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant team, management, vendors, and customers
