Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior supervisory experience in food and beverage within a resort environment
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a food and beverage supervisor in a full-service resort
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, leadership, guidance, training, service, costs and sequence of service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to high standards of quality and customer service
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory management
Job Duties
- Supervise operational efforts and strategies of food and beverage outlets
- Supervise culinary, restaurant, lounge, banquet, utility and sanitation associates
- Train food and beverage associates in job performance, service, cleaning and sanitation
- Assist in writing schedules, checking time punches, training and employee evaluations
- Take immediate action on operational problems encountered in outlets
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, food and beverage meetings, and monthly inventory
- Ensure all food served is high quality, properly prepared, and efficiently expedited
