Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior supervisory experience in food and beverage within a resort environment
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a food and beverage supervisor in a full-service resort
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, leadership, guidance, training, service, costs and sequence of service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to high standards of quality and customer service
  • Basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Supervise operational efforts and strategies of food and beverage outlets
  • Supervise culinary, restaurant, lounge, banquet, utility and sanitation associates
  • Train food and beverage associates in job performance, service, cleaning and sanitation
  • Assist in writing schedules, checking time punches, training and employee evaluations
  • Take immediate action on operational problems encountered in outlets
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, food and beverage meetings, and monthly inventory
  • Ensure all food served is high quality, properly prepared, and efficiently expedited
