Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience leading others at various organizational levels preferably at district manager level or higher
- multi-unit restaurant management experience in quick-service or full-service chain organization
- experience with pizza quick-service or full-service chain is a plus
- willingness to relocate is a plus
- ability to manually lift and move up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand and sit for extended periods
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push
- ability to read orders on tickets, menu boards, and receipts
- exposure to and immersion in cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat, poultry, cornmeal, and produce items
- frequent washing of hands
- ability to use computers, telephones, and office equipment
- exempt leaders expected to work minimum 50 hours per week
- must support restaurants open 13-16 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
- must be able to travel locally and long distances including overnight
- possession of current valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and background check
- proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
- food safety certification as required by location
- food handler's certification
- multi-unit restaurant management experience preferably managing at least 6 locations
- advanced communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- demonstrated ability to implement strategic direction
- proficiency in restaurant operations including point of sale systems and back of house functions
- strong knowledge of budgeting concepts and operational procedures
- proven leadership skills in training and delegating tasks
- ability to prepare and present ideas and recommendations with ample notice
- demonstrated ability to work in a team
Job Duties
- Demonstrate and ensure operational excellence through the training, coaching, performance management, and encouragement of general managers and junior management team members
- contribute to the planning and participate in business meetings as required
- effectively evaluate the conflict resolution skills of management team members and ensure open communication with both leadership and store team members
- partner with human resources in investigations and assist with decisions regarding actions to be taken
- supervise at least 6 or more stores and their general managers while collaborating with regional director of operations on hiring, promoting, performance management, and discharges
- ensure all brand standards are met and compliance with government inspections and expectations across the district
- work with director of company operations and president on new restaurant site selection and budget planning
- monitor sales, labor, food cost, and service results at store level and work with general managers on operational improvements
- partner with general managers on strategic approaches to improve brand awareness in the area
- perform additional responsibilities as assigned
