Job Requirements
- 18 years or older (21+ in some states to deliver alcohol)
- Valid driver's license for deliveries involving vehicles
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Own a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on location)
- Provide social security number (for US residents only)
- Able to pass identity verification and eligibility checks
- Reside in a city where DoorDash services are offered
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Possess a valid driver's license for vehicular deliveries
- Have access to a smartphone to use the Dasher app
- Be able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Have a reliable means of transportation including car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Familiarity with local roads and navigation apps is a plus
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or retailers
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage and accept delivery requests
- Maintain clear communication with customers and DoorDash support if needed
- Ensure food and items are handled carefully and delivered in good condition
- Manage your schedule to work during preferred hours
- Cash out earnings through the DoorDash payment system
