Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- have a valid driver's license
- own any vehicle such as car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on the city)
- provide social security number for US Dashers
- consistent access to a smartphone
- pass a background check
- have proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- excellent customer service skills
- basic knowledge of local geography and navigation
- comfortable using smartphone technology and apps
- good communication skills
- previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Pick up food, grocery, and retail orders from assigned locations
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- manage and track orders using the DoorDash app
- adhere to all safety and traffic laws while driving or biking
- maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
- handle cash out and payments using the DoorDash system
