Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- valid driver's license number
- social security number (for US-based Dashers)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- successful ID verification through DoorDash
- ability to lift and carry orders safely
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to use smartphone and navigation apps
- basic understanding of local area and traffic patterns
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage time effectively
- previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver orders to customers promptly and safely
- manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and navigate to deliveries
- maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers
- cash out earnings through the app
- adhere to all local traffic laws and DoorDash safety guidelines
