Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be at least 21 years old to deliver alcohol
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Have a social security number if in the US
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Own a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Completion of ID verification and eligibility requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Basic smartphone proficiency
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation method such as car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
Job Duties
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately
- Maintain communication with customers and DoorDash support
- Navigate efficiently to pickup and drop-off locations
- Ensure orders are handled carefully and meet quality standards
- Follow local traffic laws and safety protocols
- Use the DoorDash app to accept and manage delivery requests
- Manage cash out process using the DoorDash Crimson Debit Card
