Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be 21 or older to deliver alcohol
- Have a vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on location)
- Provide a valid driver's license number
- Provide a social security number if in the US
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Complete successful ID verification and meet eligibility criteria
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with smartphone apps and navigation tools
- Ability to operate a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable time management and self-motivation
- Basic knowledge of local roadways and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or merchants
- Deliver food, groceries, or retail items to customers
- Manage delivery schedule and work hours independently
- Use the DoorDash app to navigate and complete deliveries
- Maintain high customer service standards and communication
- Ensure accuracy and quality of orders while delivering
