Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking or kitchen experience beneficial
  • Willingness to obtain Food Handler certification if not already certified
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time shifts
  • Must follow health and safety guidelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef, or other BOH role beneficial
  • Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good time management skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to menu, recipes, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • Ensure all food preparation meets hospitality and service standards
  • Determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen stocked during service
  • Follow proper health and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness, appearance, hygiene, and health standards in the kitchen
  • Assist with inventory management and kitchen organization
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
