Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience beneficial
- Willingness to obtain Food Handler certification if not already certified
- Ability to work full-time or part-time shifts
- Must follow health and safety guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef, or other BOH role beneficial
- Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good time management skills
Job Duties
- Prepare food items according to menu, recipes, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
- Ensure all food preparation meets hospitality and service standards
- Determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen stocked during service
- Follow proper health and sanitation procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness, appearance, hygiene, and health standards in the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management and kitchen organization
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
