Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time shifts including mornings and nights
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency
  • Strong food handler procedures
  • ServSafe certification or in process
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Approval for airport badge through TSA
  • Must comply with uniform and appearance standards
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts as required by manager

Job Duties

  • Measuring and assembling ingredients for menu items
  • Collaboration with the chef and cooks to prepare meals during dining hours
  • Maintaining accurate food inventory
  • Prepping ingredients and preparing meals while maintaining a clean and safe workplace
  • Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
  • Rotating stock items as per established procedures
  • Restocking kitchen for subsequent shifts
  • Ensuring that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of the shift
  • Greeting guests with cheerful and helpful attitude
  • Listening attentively to guests and offering suggestions
  • Ability to properly take orders and operate the POS system
  • Operating with a sense of urgency
  • Adhering to all required safety and sanitation protocols
  • Compliance with Uptown Airport Group's uniform, appearance, and operational standards as defined in the Associate Handbook
