  • flexibility with days, hours, and holidays
  • able to work independently and as part of a team
  • able to stand for long durations
  • able to handle knives and other kitchen equipment
  • ability to comprehend and follow instructions
  • ability to speak, read, write and understand English
  • good communication skills
  • ability to read recipes and follow instructions
  • able to pass a background check
  • legally allowed to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • follow Executive or Sous Chef's instructions
  • clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • stock inventory appropriately
  • ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
