- Must have prior culinary experience in a restaurant
- Must be flexible with days, hours, holidays
- Be able to work well independently as well as with a team
- Must be able to stand for long durations
- Must be able to handle knives and other kitchen equipment
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read recipes and follow their instructions
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be legally allowed to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow Executive or Sous Chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
