Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Prior kitchen or food preparation experience beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef or in a similar BOH role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare food items according to menu and recipes
- Ensure food preparation meets hospitality and service standards
- Manage food supplies and inventory to keep kitchen stocked
- Maintain proper health, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures
- Meet quantity and deadline requirements for food production
- Follow dietary and nutritional restrictions when preparing food
- Assist with kitchen organization and cleanliness
