Job Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Possesses full body mobility with bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching with excellent manual dexterity
  • Exemplifies health department standards
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge and interest in food and cooking techniques
  • Working knowledge of all food service areas, inventory management, product rotation, ordering and forecasting
  • Must be a positive team player, leader, and role model that can effectively manage through change
  • Ability to train others in food production, food handling and product management
  • Performance oriented, with effective organization and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be conscientious, and capable of consistently following directions, procedures and recipes
  • Understands and upholds Ready for Business standards

Job Duties

  • Works in food service and restaurant operations doing prep, cooking, product rotation, and packaging
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, guests, market support staff and vendor community
  • Cultivates and maintains an integral and collaborative environment
  • Ensures adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout the kitchen
  • Assists in training and development of employees
  • Establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including guests, staff and leadership
  • Provides and role models excellent customer service
