Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Possesses full body mobility with bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching with excellent manual dexterity
- Exemplifies health department standards
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- Deep knowledge and interest in food and cooking techniques
- Working knowledge of all food service areas, inventory management, product rotation, ordering and forecasting
- Must be a positive team player, leader, and role model that can effectively manage through change
- Ability to train others in food production, food handling and product management
- Performance oriented, with effective organization and time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be conscientious, and capable of consistently following directions, procedures and recipes
- Understands and upholds Ready for Business standards
Job Duties
- Works in food service and restaurant operations doing prep, cooking, product rotation, and packaging
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, guests, market support staff and vendor community
- Cultivates and maintains an integral and collaborative environment
- Ensures adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout the kitchen
- Assists in training and development of employees
- Establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including guests, staff and leadership
- Provides and role models excellent customer service
