Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in a professional kitchen
  • valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • ability to meet minimum auto insurance requirements
  • approval to work in the united states
  • strong physical stamina and ability to work flexible hours
  • commitment to urban plates’ purpose and values

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • proven experience in a chef or kitchen manager role
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Job Duties

  • manage kitchen operations to ensure food quality and consistency
  • lead, train, and develop culinary team members
  • implement and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • oversee inventory, ordering, and waste control
  • coordinate seasonal menu changes and maintain high culinary standards
  • collaborate with management to optimize kitchen processes and guest satisfaction
  • monitor compliance with company policies and driving requirements
