Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Minimum auto insurance that meets company requirements
  • Ability to work full-time hours including weekends
  • Experience in managing kitchen staff and operations
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Compliance with all health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a chef or executive kitchen manager in a fast-casual or similar dining environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary training preferred
  • Ability to work with advanced kitchen technology and systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for cooking fresh, scratch-made food and a commitment to quality

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality scratch-made food items that align with Urban Plates' standards
  • Lead and manage kitchen teams to ensure productivity, quality, and food safety
  • Coordinate kitchen operations including food preparation, stock management, and cleanliness
  • Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Facilitate the training and development of culinary staff members
  • Oversee seasonal menu changes and contribute to recipe development
  • Use kitchen technology systems to optimize operations and maintain consistency
