Job Requirements

  • valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • meet minimum auto insurance requirements
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards
  • willingness to participate in ongoing training and development

Job Qualifications

  • experience as a chef or executive kitchen manager in a fast-casual or high-volume restaurant
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment including Rational ovens and blast chillers
  • familiarity with kitchen display systems and restaurant technology platforms
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent culinary skills with a focus on made-from-scratch cooking
  • ability to train and develop culinary staff
  • valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Job Duties

  • manage kitchen operations and team members during shifts
  • prepare and cook meals according to Urban Plates recipes and standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
  • oversee food quality control and consistency
  • implement seasonal menu changes and train staff accordingly
  • utilize kitchen technology systems for efficient workflow
  • support development and mentoring of culinary team members
