Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- ability to comply with food safety standards and regulations
- ability to lead and manage kitchen staff
- excellent communication skills
- capability to handle guest feedback and complaints professionally
- willingness to work full-time in a luxury hotel environment

Job Duties
- Develops and designs new culinary applications or products
- supervises restaurant kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with food and beverage policies
- maintains food preparation, handling, and storage standards
- plans and manages food quantities and plating requirements
- communicates production needs to key personnel
- assists in developing daily and seasonal menu items
- ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- supervises and coordinates activities of kitchen staff
- leads shift teams while preparing food
- manages kitchen employees and daily operations
- encourages mutual trust and cooperation among team members
- sets and supports achievement of kitchen performance and budget goals
- develops plans to prioritize and organize kitchen operations
