- 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage field
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary or food and beverage field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work full-time in a luxury hotel environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
- Skilled in menu planning and food preparation
- Capacity to train and mentor employees
- Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints
- Willingness to comply with company policies and standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Develops and designs new culinary applications and menu items
- Supervises kitchen shift operations complying with food and beverage policies
- Maintains food preparation, handling, and storage standards
- Plans and manages food quantities and plating requirements
- Communicates production needs to key personnel
- Ensures compliance with laws and regulations
- Prepares and cooks food for guests and special functions
- Supervises and coordinates activities of kitchen staff
- Leads and influences team with interpersonal skills
- Manages daily kitchen operations and employee productivity
- Facilitates cross-training and ensures employee understanding of expectations
- Sets and supports achievement of kitchen and budget goals
- Investigates and reports employee accidents
- Provides exceptional guest service and handles complaints
- Coaches and mentors staff for skill development
- Participates in hiring and training employees
- Attends and participates in meetings
