Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years of professional cooking experience in a multi-outlet and banquet environment
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Proficient computer skills
- Commitment to quality food preparation and guest service
Job Qualifications
- Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience
- Strong communication skills
- Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
- Five or more years in a similar role with multi-outlet and large volume banquet experience
- Understanding of professional cooking and banquet production
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Previous executive chef or sous chef experience preferred
- Ability to take and give direction
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to speak, read, and understand cooking directions

Job Duties
- Assist in planning menus for all food outlets
- Schedule and coordinate work of kitchen staff to ensure economical and technically correct food preparation
- Approve requisitions for products and food supplies
- Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in kitchen areas
- Establish controls to minimize food and supply waste and theft
- Provide training on safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles
- Develop standard recipes and portion control to maintain food quality and cost
- Attend food and beverage staff and management meetings
- Cook or supervise preparation of skillful dishes
- Ensure proper staffing to maximize productivity and control food and payroll costs
- Evaluate food products for consistent quality
- Interact with food and beverage management to exceed guest expectations
- Maintain service principles with management team
- Evaluate products for quality, price, and other standards
- Develop and update policies and procedures for quality enhancement
- Establish regular cleaning and maintenance schedules
- Provide training and development opportunities for kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen representation at service lineups and meetings
- Support safe work habits and environment
- Conduct monthly inventory and update pricing
- Comply with standards
